Banyan Tree Bangkok

Oct 9, 2010

There are no official statistics out there, but surely Vertigo Moon Bar boasts some of the most proposals and anniversaries of any place in the Thai capital. Perched 61 floors above the glittering lights of Bangkok, it’s about as devastatingly romantic of a locale as one could imagine. Other rooftop venues have cropped up since it first opened its doors, but this one remains the one to beat. As famous as that heart-stopping view is, it shouldn’t overshadow the rest of the hotel, which remains a timeless class-act in buzzy Sathorn. As one of the few all-suite hotels around, there isn’t a bad room in the house here. Banyan Tree Hotels and Resorts excel when it comes to spas and the Bangkok outpost is no exception. Partaking in one of their holistic treatments with a sweeping panorama of the skyline is truly an indulgent experience.
