After successfully launching the first yoga studio in Kuta, on Lombok Island—a serene, less-traveled destination not to be confused with go-go-go party town Kuta in Bali—Mana Yoga, in 2015, owners Evelien Beirinckx and Jono Williams decided to expand their mini-empire. They opened Mana Retreat in 2018. The environmentally focused boutique property is set in a verdant tropical garden replete with thatch-roof pavilions, hammocks, the sounds of birdlife and an inviting lagoon pool surrounded by beanbags and daybeds.
