MENTION THE WORDS ‘ALL-INCLUSIVE’ and ‘LUXURY’ in the same sentence and you’ll probably get some serious side-eye. For years, these all-you-can-eat-and-drink getaways have garnered a bad reputation for cocktails that taste more like water and food that may as well come from a drive-through. Add the MTV Spring Break crowd to that and it’s the exact opposite of what you’d want on your honeymoon, right?

But we’re lucky to be living in the age of all-inclusive resorts so luxurious they’ll wipe the taste of that battered buffet line right out of your mouth. These super high-end resorts are not your great-aunt’s Club Med. They’re some of the best places for couples to celebrate their nuptials with endless bottles of bubbly and scenery worthy of that newlywed photoshoot. Here are nine of the best in Asia-Pacific.

Wild Coast Lodge

Sri Lanka

Elephants have been known to roam around the Bo Reudler Studio—designed tents set against the ferocious Indian Ocean. Next to Yala National Park, a stay here includes two game drives per day with the highest chance of seeing leopards anywhere in the world.

Apart from the wildlife, the architecture here packs some serious wow-factor. Two teak-clad domes resembling boulders found near the beach make up the main dining area, pool and bar. The luxurious tents have British-colonial-style decor with leather safari chairs and a standout clawfoot copper tub — and some have private pools. Three meals a day, afternoon tea and sundowners make sure guests will never be hungry while out looking for prey.

Shinta Mani Wild

A zipline leads you to this luxurious tented camp inside the Southern Cardamom Mountains, a national park whose flora and fauna this resort is helping preserve by its very existence. Each of the 15 luxury tents is uniquely designed by preservationist architect-owner Bill Bensley with exquisite attention to detail that highlights Cambodian architecture, nature and wildlife — oh, and his love of Jackie O. The outdoor clawfoot tubs (big enough for two) with views of the flowing river are ideal for sunset.

Shinta Mani Wild’s remote location doesn’t mean it skimps on the cuisine. Meals at The Headquarters, which include hand-foraged ingredients and are open to requests, are all included in a stay. As are transfers to and from Phnom Penh or Sihanoukville, spa treatments and all activities. Comped G&Ts at the Landing Zone Bar are a delight, but they’ll also stock your minibar with the beverages of your choice if you prefer to cocoon on the outlandish couch of your tent’s deck.

Floor-to-ceiling windows illuminate the colors of Australia’s Great Barrier Reef. This is the northernmost resort on the famed marine-life destination, an hour flight from Cairns. Once you land on this tropical island, the only thing you have to think about is how often you want to go snorkeling.

Gourmet meals, all drinks and the mini-bar are included. You have access to a private dinghy to explore the nearby silica beaches and picnic hampers for your excursions are included, too. Snorkeling gear, stand-up paddleboards and clear-view sea kayaks make it easy to spot Nemo below.

Kokomo Private Island

Fijian paradise is a seaplane or helicopter ride away from the country’s main airport. Once you see this private island retreat through the window, you and your partner will know it was well worth the journey. Super spacious beachside villas and residences with private pools dot the sand here, but with some of the region’s best diving, you’ll want to be in the water as much as possible.

An impressive on-site farm supplies most of the fresh fruit and produce used in their three different dining venues. Their sustainable fishing program with Dock to Dish also means endless fresh fish is available any time of day. On the minus side, alcohol is not included in the normal all-in package — but on the plus side, right now Kokomo is only available for entire-island buyouts, which include booze, yes, but also all the living fantasy romance money can buy. (See details here.)

Healthy, sustainable ingredients (many of them made on the island) are served three times a day, as well as island-made ice cream. The only extras are transfers, motorized sports and alcohol.

The Brando

French Polynesia

With a name like The Brando, it’s no surprise it’s a favorite among Hollywood celebs. Picture-perfect white sand beaches and turquoise lagoons surround the megastar’s former personal private island of Tetiaroa, now a honeymooner’s dream.

Most guests opt for their all-inclusive package, including a stylish beachfront villa or suite, all meals at the resort’s two restaurants (including an impressive vegan menu), all drinks and daily spa treatments at the Polynesian spa. Designed to look like a nesting cocoon, it has a tea lounge for even more post-treatment relaxation—if that’s even possible.
