THE MOON FESTIVAL SITS ON the horizon and is celebrated across the globe, with different cultures carrying out numerous rituals. Travel is usually on the menu as people return to home to celebrate with their families… but wouldn’t Mid-Autumn Festival travel be better aboard a private jet?

September 10 this year sees Japan celebrate Tsukimi, which translates as “moon viewing.” Traditionally, family and friends gather under the full moon with offerings of food and sake. This 10-day VistaJet Moon Festival journey involves a private Tsukimi ceremony held at a traditional temple, ancient temple visits, learning calligraphy, sampling the finest sake served by geishas in Kyoto, hanging out with Japan’s oldest tribe, and veering off the well-trodden trail in search of wildlife.
