SO, YOU’RE IN BANGKOK A LOT, and you’re looking for a well-located pied à terre with all the trimmings. Hyatt Regency has an idea: join their Million Baht Club and check in for the whole year, or pop in whenever you want to rest, wine, dine or take care of business. Either way, you’re guaranteed a Club Room for 365 straight nights with perks that are tens across the board: 10 limo rides in the city, 10 nights away in Samui, Hua Hin or Phuket; and 10 massages at Let’s Relax Spa.

Open since early 2019, your new home sparkles at the corner of Sukhumvit and Soi 13, with a new direct skywalk to the Nana BTS station, an attached mall, and within staggering distance of nightlife hotspot Soi 11 (though Hyatt’s multi-level open-air roofbar Spectrum competes for convenience). Inside, your room’s a modern, well-equipped affair in muted tones, with floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking the city skyline

The package, which includes boring life admin like laundry, caps occupancy at two adults and two under 12s, but even with the workspace and roomy bathroom, that might be a squeeze. However, what your 37-square-meter bolthole may lack in space for family Twister, it makes up for in all-area access. The fitness center is 24 hours. You can kick back by the verdant, city-view pool, or retreat to the Club Lounge, where you’ve got a meeting room at your disposal, plus breakfast, coffee all day and cocktails at sunset.

Culinarily, you also get Bt200,000 (US$6,600) to spend on authentic Thai flavors at Market Cafe, afternoon tea at Sukhumvit Gallery or rooftop cocktails at Spectrum—where all your friends (numbers dependent on Covid regulations, natch) are invited to your private birthday bash

So, now that we think about it, actually, with the credit, the price tag’s south of Bt800,000. Total steal, right?

Million Baht Club at Hyatt Regency Bangkok Sukhumvit: Bt1,000,000 for 365 nights, starting any time until March 31, 2021.
